  1. Amazing, thank you for sharing! The Clovis theory keeps getting pushed back but humans in Florida during the ice age is truly incredible. It’s inspiring to see their dedication and commitment to what they are doing.

  2. So what geological era do you place soapstone bowl quarries, white quartz bolder weapons and tool quarries with hammer stones and such? Appalachian blades and whole crafted small brick shape Ocare? All found on a ridge not far from very old volcanic and lava flow features? Keep in mind this area of North Ga has no geological evidence of ever being washed away by great floods. Most rock outcroppings are weathered by organic fall out and the soils are deep and very old. It has been said the organic top soil is some of the oldest in the world. Educated guess….. These features pre date those shown in the Vero Beach video. Where art thou archeologist here in the ancient mountains?

  3. Your question is in the realm of traditional archaeology, but my understanding is that soapstone bowls coincide with the first permanent villages . . . say 4,000 to 3500 BC.. However, my late friend, archaeologist Bill Gardner found huge villages in the Shenandoah Valley (up to 1000 occupants) that were 8-9,000 years old.
