Need an Americas Revealed reader to check my Spanish!

There is an enormous Latin American population in this region because of the poultry industry. The majority of Georgia’s 1.2 million Latin Americans are Indigenous Americans or Mestizos with more “Indios” genes than so-called “full bloods” among the Southeastern tribes. There are over two million Cuban Americans in Florida. Virtually, none of these people know that the ancestors of the Creek and Seminole Indians came from Southern Mexico or that there was a substantial Spanish-speaking population in the Georgia Mountains a century before British colonists arrived on the coast.

Our new neighbors here in the mountains began arriving in the mid-1970s to take menial jobs with the poultry, carpet and construction industries, but now the second and third generations are climbing up the economic ladder, plus Latino professionals are moving here from other regions of the USA and Mexico, because Georgians have traditionally liked Latin Americans . . . and as you can tell in the photo, the senoritas in Mexico liked me. LOL

Spanish language version of The Americas Revealed

I plan to start publishing Spanish language versions of those articles in The Americas Revealed that are relevant to Latin Americans. I can quickly translate my English texts to Spanish with Google Translate, but there is a problem. I am not fluent in Spanish. I don’t know all of the grammatical rules of Spanish or many colloquial words. I only have formal education in French, Latin and Swedish. I learned Spanish by being immersed in Mexican culture and having romantic relationships with senoritas.

What is needed is someone, who is a Native Spanish speaker to double-check my Google Translate Spanish for its syntax and choice of words. What is correct wording according to a dictionary may not be how most people would write the sentence. If you are interested in helping me out, please use the “Contact” tab below to let me know.
