Massive Maya city discovered in East-Central Campeche, where Ana Rojas and Richard Thornton explored in August 1970

They photographed stelas, water basins and large stone sculptures, which are featured in the video, “Expedition into the Heart of Campeche” on YouTube. In this video, the pyramids and large buildings appear to be hills, densely covered with vegetation.
