This is a snapshot of the Chattahoochee River Headwaters Model, which required most of the year 2021 to reach fruition. This computer model covers about 52 square miles of White and Habersham Counties, Georgia . . . from the river’s source in the Blue Ridge Mountains to where it passes through a gorge on the southeast side of Sal Mountain, The model includes all major rivers and streams, plus Anna Ruby Falls near present day Unicoi State Park.

The model is capable of producing photo-realistic images or videos at any time of day or date from the Ice Age to about 1700 AD.

The terrain base model was created from terrain data, furnished by the U. S. Geological Survey that was converted into a CADD (DWG) format.

Land use, water, vegetation and architecture are created with the BricsCAD 3D modeling program from Brussels, Belgium.

Photorealistic lighting, skies, clouds, textures, colors and shadows are created with the Artlantis Virtual Reality program from Paris, France.
