Video – The red-bearded Sea People, who settled in Peru

This is NOT an AI-produced junk documentary

Although presenting a concept that conflicts with anthropological orthodoxy, this is a highly professional educational video, produced by Robert Sepehr.

He and his wife have actually visited and filmed the sites, discussed in his videos.

Critique

At the present time, I am professionally involved with a study of the Sea Peoples, who settled in many parts of the world including the South Atlantic Coast of the United States. Indeed, several of the tribal names within the Uchee Alliance and Creek Confederacy mean “Ocean People,” “Water People” or “Descended from Water.” My family carries their DNA.

The only major criticism of this well-crafted video is that he infers that all of these Sea People were Nordic and that their arrival triggered the first civilizations in South America. Many peoples traversed the world’s oceans in ancient times . . . most notably the Australoids, Austronesians, red-haired Paracusa and Sea Sami . . . but probably also the Bronze Age Irish, Scandinavians, Minoans and Phoenicians.

The fact is that agriculture and ceremonial earthworks in the Southeastern United States and South America long preceded the arrival of “civilized” Sea Peoples. The earliest occupants of the Amazon Basin were Australoids, not red-bearded Eurasians. Southern Mexico independently developed sophisticated agricultural technology, but did not have pottery or earthworks until “someone” arrived by boat around 1200-900 BC.

  1. I could’t open your video. “A network change was detected,” it says. Your historical, archaeological and educated connections between the Americas, Europe and the Pacific are intriguing. I learn a lot from your blog.

    1. I have not problem opening the video. Try typing in “Bearded Gods of Ancient Peru” in the YouTube search window. I wanted y’all to see the difference between legitimate work by scholars . . . even if they discuss controversial topics . . . and junk videos designed just to make ad money.
