Holy Cow! On its 20th anniversary – 18,400 views! The Americas Revealed is second only to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in online viewership in northern Georgia! Believe or not, it was actor & musician Pernell Roberts, who suggested that I publish an online e-zine about our research in the Southeast. He then asked to be its first subscriber. Until 2015, the publication was called “The People of One Fire.”

That name is now solely used for my YouTube Channel. It was sociologist-historian James W. Lowen, who suggested that I should also produce videos in parallel to this website. He was the author of “Lies My Teacher Told Me” and several other best-selling books. However, Jim was aware that the world was rapidly changing from printed documents to digital news and multi-media videos.
