Video: Ek Balaam . . . a Maya city in northern Yucatan, under excavation

This is what most of the Maya archaeological sites looked like in 1970, when I was on the fellowship . . . well most of them in eastern Yucatan and Campeche were just piles of stone in the jungle. I thought subscribers would enjoy seeing what these sites look like close up. Slick TV documentaries typically only show distant views and extreme close up views, so you don’t get a feeling of what it is like to walk around these ancient sites.
