Remember, I now have proof that there was an Aztec-speaking province around St. Marys Sound and Cumberland Island in Georgia.
The truth was, though, that the egalitarian Creeks in the Southeastern United States had much higher standard of living than Aztec Commoners – healthier diets with plenty of meat, bigger houses with ornate split cane mat floors and walls, beds to sleep on, wooden storage furniture, interior partitions, murals on the walls, less work and more fun! Creek winter houses had thick, insulated walls, which would keep the interior so warm that they could sleep with minimal clothing in the middle of winter!
However, the Creeks also bathed every day, except in the winter. Apparently, the Creeks took “sponge baths” when it was really cold.
