This long-celebrated time of education and honoring our ancestors has been banned in Washington, DC . . . but we will continue to celebrate it in the Southeastern United States. It’s not the first time that someone has tried to bully the Creek, Seminole, Chickasaw and Uchee Peoples into submission.
The Americas Revealed will feature new articles, which analyze the not so accurate Native American history, which students are exposed to in their history textbooks. I have been able to locate used copies of the American History and Georgia textbooks that I was assigned back in high school. They are a hoot!
My favorite comment so far is in an American History Book . . . “No one knows who built the ancient mounds in the Eastern United States. In the past they were credited to people from Wales or Egypt, but now leading archaeologists theorize that they were created by an advanced race of American Indians, who disappeared before the arrival of European colonists.”

We are alive!
Yeah!!!!!!!!
