Video – New genetic evidence from American Bison proves that Homo Erectus and Homo Sapiens could have walked into North America much earlier!

Hunters could have easily followed the bison herds into North America under climatic conditions much more inhabitable than during the end of the last Glacial Epoch.

Image Above – This is a Woodland Bison, which is larger and shaggier than the American Plains Bison. Woodland Bison were formerly abundant in Eastern Tennessee and Georgia, plus present in other states, east of the Mississippi River. Some Woodland Bison still survive in Eastern Canada, but they are extinct in the Southeastern United States.

Recent research has pushed back the known arrival of Homo erectus in eastern Asia by about 600,000 years. The oldest securely dated Homo erectus fossils from the Yunxian site in Hubei Province, China, are now dated to around 1.77 million years ago. MANY species of animals walked back and forth from Siberia and North America since 1.77 M-BP.

Archaeological evidence shows that Homo erectus reached Japan and the Philippines  during the Middle Pleistocene, roughly 1 million to 700,000 years ago, when lower sea levels created land bridges and narrower straits between mainland Asia and these islands . The Bering Land Bridge was also traversable during that era,.
